Yogi's enthusiasm for the field of powersports started in his earliest youth.

The need for speed caused modifications on all type of bikes ever owned by Yogi. Not always very
successful in the beginning the lack of knowledge, money and experience led to a massive willing
to do it better and to prove one's own capability Four stroke bikes have always been Yogi's passion. Modifications on the first flat twin were regarded as necessity even before achieving the driving license. A serious road accident in 1983 led to the decision to prove the bike's and personal abilities on the race track. More than 15 years of race track experience have led to the products, knowledge and connections that make Yogi one of the prime sources for professional racing equipment today. The need for non available custom race parts forced Yogi to quit the field of professional music and sports entertainment working together eye to eye with groups like Duran Duran, Grace Jones, UB 40, Depeche Mode, Bette Middler, Spandau Ballet,, Billy Idol, Barcley James Harvest, Saga and a neverending list of others after school and to start an apprentice- ship as a toolmaker ending up as master of mechanics much later. Still nowadays a lot of products are produced in the cradle of Yogis metal knowledge. Quality products made in Germany. In 1987 Yogi left the field of metalwork to occupy himself completely for racing ending up in winning several trophies and the championship in these days competing in races worldwide. The race death of Yogi's friend and race teacher Manfred Rettig, an incredible fast and sypathic guy, the tremendous costs for racing exceeding a certain limit, lack of own capability and time due to his two cuties at home led to the decision not to stop but to reduce own activities and to enter the Guzzi-workshop IMT. Still today a very good job is done there. Initially hating the Guzzi motorbikes, this mind changed totally and still today Yogi is a big friend of the incredibly underestimated abilities of the big V-engine. This led to a new own fast growing workshop in 1993 specialized in developing, producing and distributing high-performance products for professional racing and almost all types of power sports. His connections led to the fact that he's now working as official sales representative for several firms, mainly from Italy.The continual growing success led to the move into new facilities in 1999. Due to health and family problems he reduced all activities drastically since 2001 but now he`s back again and better than ever before! All products are initially tested by Yogi himself and "worxrider" Bernd Scheeder one of Yogi's best friends and extremely successful full blood racer.  .  |
